Brooklyn Cares

  • The Beeson coat by Spiewak, standard apparel for a female Urban Pioneer Sloane. Spiewak is not some new-fangled institution, but was founded in 1904 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the cultural heart of urban pioneer Sloanedom, their very own Sloane Square. Spiewak made army uniforms for WWI and WWII, and uniforms for dockworkers (clothes for hardy people). And they even have a coat called the “Sloan” coat. Wrong spelling guys.
